more downs then ups

Things have been all over the place, it all started good went on holiday and guess what husband was ill the whole time and we had to come home early, then i was unwell only a cold so between us we could not make one healthy person ha ha.
  My gastric band is going great in the last 5 weeks i have lost 23 pounds, but it is hard getting used to having such small meals, but i think it is going to be worth it.

  Today the weather has been really nice so i have spent most of it in the garden but here is a picture of my garden at night, though this does not do it justice you can not see how pretty the lights look.

Now everything is calm again perhaps i will be able to add to this page more regular.

Have been able to spend some time in my summer house. This is where i go when i want to be on my own and listen to my music and read, My husband brought it for me about 6 years ago, he had people in to erect it but inside he put all the electrics in and he put up boarding and painted it all, i was so proud that he did that all for me.

   This little yellow jug has caused me problems........

                 ......  because i just love the colours and it has made me want to decorate the kitchen, the best of it is the jug it self only cost me £1.25 from the charity shop, but i think redecorating will cost a little bit more lol.

 Today we have a lovely summers day so i think i will now go and sit in the garden with a cup of tea and a good book.

ups and downs

It has been ages since i wrote, but life has a habit of not being straight forward.
Firstly my mom had a fall and broke her arm, she is ok but because of it they have had to cancel their holiday, my son has come home to stay for a few months, so i have been sorting out the spare room for him. My husband has not been to good (he has a long term illness) and has been having more bad days than good, so getting time for me has been hard, but things have evened themselves out so thing are pretty much back to normal.

Today i have been in the garden and found my first tomato.
This is the first year i have grown any veggies, so i am keeping my fingers crossed i get some thing that is edible.

Yesterday i brought some new cushions for my chairs they are a bit big but the do the job
